I just semicompleted my CAI. Which one would you rather run with? bed liner spray, heat wrap, or plastidip? I'm planning on bed linger spray since I don't like that mummy heat wrap look on my intake. Does anyone know if the bed liner spray will be able to stand the engine bay heat? Also PlastiDip does insulate temperature but I think bed liner spray would work better.

If you can find some carbon-x fabric you can use that. I've been having trouble finding small quantities though. It is what they use on the fireproof race suits. You can put a blow torch on one side and have your hand on the other. That way you can wrap one wide sheet around it and just sew the bottom of the CAI that you can't see. I just heat wrapped mine though. My plan is to line my air filter box with carbon-x. It isn't as expensive as you might think, I just can't find it.

Yea. I'm looking at an inexpensive choice. I think bedliner is what I'm going to go with. I'm going to start spraying after I make an elbow bend behind the fender since my filter is hitting the fender liner and my wheel on sharp right turns.
