Hi,
I'm currently working on a st205 engine into a st202 (celica GT, european spec) swap. I bought the car with the 3sgte engine already in, but not connected (unfinished project). It is a jdm (RHD) engine in a LHD car, so the previous owner extended the engine wiring loom to enter the vehicle on the right side, but didn't connect anything yet. Now the problem is there seems to be no connection on the wiring loom to power the intercooler water pump and also no connection for the water level sensor on top of the intercooler. Is this something that should be in the car's wiring loom? Or has it maybe been removed because he was planning to run a FMIC? It looks like I will have to make a custom connector for the water pump. Is it ok to run the water pump all the time, or is there some sort of ecu or temperature control for it? Does anybody maybe know the color coding on the water pump wires? It has a 5 pin connector, 3 small pins and 2 larger pins. |
