Does anyone know if i can swap internal parts of the e153 (gears, synchro, etc...) with the one from e154f?
My st205 front clip is only 63000 km so i would seriously consider using internal from my e154f to rebuilt a camry/solara e153 from a salvage yard. you could use the drivers side axle but the passenger side will need a MR2 axle and ST185 hybrid, look up converting to E153 trans threads

I thought because I could keep the modified e154f that both st205 axels could be used, but I realize now that the diff coming from e153 is changing things. And for the cover plate, have I identified the right one? |
