So I was screwing around with my headlights the other day, and I came across an interesting idea: What if I stuck my brights 9005 headlights in the 9006 place to make them brighter? Turns out its a perfect fit (with a little jiggle) !!! It's F***ing Sweet! They are just as bright as those luxury cars!! Pretty cool! However you don't have brights anymore but you don't need them with your headlights so bright! I also installed a Purpleish tinted headlight 9005 and it looks kinda sweet! Just an idea!

I doubt the difference between 55 and 65W would matter, but I'd always heard that those 90/100 or 100/110W bulbs you see a lot would burn out your wiring. I got a set with some H4 conversion parts I bought for my miata and decided to try it and see what happened. I kept a close watch on the wiring and it never got hot, did blow any fuses, didn't catch fire, etc. The bulbs suck a55 and I'm not sure they're really what they say they are, but in my case, they didn't burn anything up. YMMV. |
