I bet you could have a 5sfte or 3sgte with BOTH a stock st204 ecu and either an aftermarket or 3sgte ecu run in parallel. Its a couple pounds of unnecessary crap but youd only need a few sensors if any to piggyback a 5sfe ecu onto a 3SGTE. That way you could flip a switch and go from the 3s or aftermarket ecu to runnin on the OEM, till you fool the emissions test and then switch it back. Not sure if it would throw a code or not but Id bet the 5sfe hardware would run a 3s no problem, if you could somehow keep the turbo from making boost.
