Hi, I have a 1995 Toyota Celica ST, and I need to replace the Coolant Temperature Switch. I already purchased one from amazon, but even though amazon said it's the right fit it was clearly not compatible when I received it.

Hi, I have a 1995 Toyota Celica ST, and I need to replace the Coolant Temperature Switch. I already purchased one from amazon, but even though amazon said it's the right fit it was clearly not compatible when I received it. I am attaching an image as reference.

Coolant temperature-

Switch = for the fan relays
Sender = for the Temp guage on the cluster
Sensor = for the ecu and EFI

If you were throwing a code, you needed the coolant sensor not the coolant switch. The coolant switch threads into the lower radiator and turns the cooling fans on or off.
