You could buy something like this rocket bunny and make it fit onto the 6cg or maybe find a good bodyshop and make them metal. It would me better than fiberglass rocket bunnys. I've seen some DIY rocket bunny flares on AE86 corrolas and more cars. as yellochinaman said the style of these arches doesn't demand OEM looks That's the 1 I was looking at. and he is right. I spoke to a friend of mine n was told it could be easily done. il have to worry about fitting the alloys and spacing it properly afterwards. I have put it on my to do list now. how much more would having it made in metal actually cost tho? I don't feel it to be too necessary to have it in metal to be honest Don't know what would cost you to be done. I would be happy with something around 800-1000 euro here. Your friend is right. But you will have to worry about the wheels before you make the flares. I would firstly look my wheel choices ( with or without spacer adapters) Check how wide you want to go and calculate it with something like this www.willtheyfit.com then decide what tyre size sould I use (stretched you be better with the flares maybe?) and at the end I would make the arches to match the wheels otherwise you may and up with sunk wheels, huge spacers or rubbing on fiberglass problems. |
