I came across a thread about running a turbo timer with an alarm a while back but I don't remember if that was this forum or one of the other ones. My turbo timer keeps me from arming the alarm until the car shuts off, I tried to bypass this by wiring the timer to only run the engine management instead of straight off of the ignition and it still doesn't arm when the car is running, plus it unlocks the doors when the car shuts off so I can't manually lock it and walk away. I think because I'm using the old injector wires coming off the fuse box to trigger the relays to come on when I turn on the ignition, it back feeds the ignition system through the fuse box. Diode maybe? I would have to buy one.

well my alarm has remote start as well as turbo timing. i can also arm the car while still on. its the clifford 50.5x alarm if you were wondering. been great for all the years that ive had it I just looked it up, it's pretty pricey and I already have an alarm that works. I think I can wire in a diode so it doesn't backfeed the stock fusebox. It isn't much load, everything that is powered is powered by relays, so I don't need a very heavy-duty diode. -------------------- -Jay
