I came across a thread about running a turbo timer with an alarm a while back but I don't remember if that was this forum or one of the other ones. My turbo timer keeps me from arming the alarm until the car shuts off, I tried to bypass this by wiring the timer to only run the engine management instead of straight off of the ignition and it still doesn't arm when the car is running, plus it unlocks the doors when the car shuts off so I can't manually lock it and walk away. I think because I'm using the old injector wires coming off the fuse box to trigger the relays to come on when I turn on the ignition, it back feeds the ignition system through the fuse box. Diode maybe? I would have to buy one.

I looked up the load for the relays and all of them together pull 480 milliamps, which is 5.76 watts on a 12v system. The largest diode I could find was 12v 5w. As clean as it would have looked I would have rather done that, but it goes over the allowed load. Instead I used a relay to break the signal between the factory fusebox and the turbotimer, not as clean, but it gets the job done. It's all good now, the doors unlock when I turn off the key even though the car is still running, the alarm arms when the turbo timer is still counting down, and the doors don't unlock when the timer finally shuts off the engine. It's perfect! Only irritating thing is the car alarm goes off after 10 seconds from the car vibration.
