So does anybody know if there's a way to disable the auto roll-down when you hit the switch on the drivers side so that it would just work only when you've actually got your finger on the button?

I'll have to take the door apart and get a closer look at it Ty No need to, just take a flat head screwdriver and pop that ellipse shaped part at the bottom (be gentle so you don't crack the plastic)... From there on out you just unplug the wiring and take the thing apart. But beware, most of these switches have springs inside them that will pop out of there as soon as you open the switch. Spent quite some time searching for these springs all over the room myself... But then as The_enD mentioned, you should have two switch positions for rolling down the driver's window - the first is manual (just a gentle push), the second is auto (full push). Never found a problem with this, even more - I'd like to have the same function on my passenger's side. -------------------- |
