Im looking to swap my engine for a new one. My current 5sfe engine is leaking oil and it has almost 400,000km on it. with that said I am wondering what swap would be easier: 3sge 3sgte or the beams engine. I am also wondering if a clutch from a 5sfe engine will fit any three of the engines listed? thank you for your time.

Beams is the easiest swap. As for clutch I think batman said this in one thread.

you would need a 3s or resurfaced beams flywheel and 3s pressure plate, with a 5s disk and throw out bearing (hybrid kit)

Here's more info on the beams. I'm eventually going with a beams due to easy of swap and reliability.

I found a 3sge beams engine from a IS300 altezza? only its RWD. Will my S54 tranny fit this engine or not?
