I'm in the market for some new motor mounts, and after searching on toyodiy, I can't exactly pinpoint which mounts I need. The car is a 95 Celica GTS, 5SFE, Manual trans, and I'm looking to replace the front mount, as well as the rear dreaded trans mount.
After Looking on toyodiy, I've come up with the following part numbers: BRACKET, ENGINE MOUNTING, FRONT(FOR TRANSVERSE ENGINE): 12311-74180 BRACKET, ENGINE MOUNTING, REAR(FOR TRANSVERSE ENGINE): 12321-74320 Source: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_1995_TOYO...LMGKK_1107.html However, there's also a bunch of other things listed under Engine Mounting, like Insulator assemblies and Stabilizers. And after searching on Rock Auto, they have front and rear mounts for a standard transmission from multiple brand names, however none seem to match with the above listed mounts. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I need? Also, is there a brand that should be preferred over another? Or would it be best to go with an OEM mount from toyota? Yep, the part numbers are the 10 digit numbers on the bottom. I ended up ordering an aftermarket rear mount and passenger mount from RockAuto, replaced my front mount with a mount from one of the BEAMS I ordered, and added poly inserts to the front and rear. Driver side mount is still original, shame on me.

I've been debating, but my car will never see a track so I was leaning towards just new mounts. -------------------- -Protection mode, For when your amp tries to blow its load. 1995 Toyota Celica GTS - Daily Driver 1999 Chevy Cavalier - Winter Beater 1994 Honda Civic CX Hatchback - Dead My Celica! |
