they say it needs 100,000 signatures in 30 days.
and they are just trying to get it lowered from 25 years to 15 years.

more than likely we'd need all of the signatures and then put pressure on individual congressmen for it to really get results

they've already got 59,000 and need the rest in 4 days.
mainly because not enough people know about it, and if it doesn't work we try again.

I signed it when it first came out. It's not going to do anything though. Even if it gets all the signatures the the government will make up some bull**** reasons about how these cars aren't safe or environmentally friendly. We can hope all we want but it's never going to happen. but hey, only 5 more years till you can import an st205!
