Hey guys,

The front subframe of my 1996 Toyota Celica 7afe is rusting and I would like to replace it. I have found the same part from a 1995 and was wondering if it would fit? I assume that they would since they are both from the 6th generation, but I would like some feedback before I start working on it.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thank you

I believe you. smile.gif I was just saying that ToyoDIY shows the same part number (51201-20300) and diagram for all of the USDM models. The ST202, Carina, Corona, and Curren also share the same subframe if I expand the search outside of the U.S. The steering rack also shows the same part number for USDM Celicas and some European Celicas (44250-20640.)

Yeah I probably got the one that was different. This Thread is from years ago when I replaced it.
Left from my ST, right I assumed from a GT since it was different but never looked too much into it. Maybe it was from a 205, or RHD?
The right ones mounting points are a few inches apart in comparison. Everything else mounted perfect

Had to make a bracket to extend to the steering rack. Works perfect, just kind of a pain.
