Gonna be swapping very soon, already have EVERYTHING except the engine itself which ill be getting in the next 2 or 3 weeks.
my car is lowered (slammed) and I only have about 3 inches of clearance under car. Im thinking of moving the cats up towards the front or just deleting them, and then doing 3 inch exhaust tucked into the driveshaft tunnel that goes to a y pipe that splits up into 2 inch dual exhaust for the back half of the car, that way I can go over the rear suspension and have 2 small mufflers that won't get torn off if I hit a bump. Your thoughts? -------------------- |

i know your car is much lower lol the gt4 runs the exhaust along the drive shaft half way tucked in the drive shaft well. its a 3in hks high power exhaust. it was already on the car when i got it. i will email you some pics after work.

For reference, I put a 12oz bottle of pureleaf iced tea on its side under my car, it was almost touching the subframe. I think a can of soda laid sideways will actually hit the subframe. Aka I scrape A LOT. Although I love it lol #loweredprobs When I do my 3s swap the front will most likely get a little lower due to the extra weight over a 7afe. Idk if the rear will be effected at all, prob not tho. -------------------- |

I would like to touch quickly on 'boosting your balls off', if you are going from DD a 7a to a 3s... take it slow lol And as far as the loud straightpipe sound, that only happens when you open the cut out. Only when you want to 'race'. Which is still pretty loud, but its dyno proven to up your power. So when you want to drive around town quite with a dual 2.25 you can, but then you can open it and shove it in the civics face ![]() Its not any more difficult to run the exhaust pipe up and over (with someone who has a pipe bender) But again you run into a little bit of restriction with the more bends and especially sharper bends you have. The turbos gotta breath ![]() -------------------- |
