I am talking to TechnoToyTuning, the same ones who made the tie rod flip kit about making extended ball joints. The tie rod flip kit was meant for the MK1 MR2 but fits the 5th gen celica. If the tierod and ball joints of the 5th gen also fit the 6th gen, this would be a solution for your guys as well.
For those wonder what roll center and bump steer is, check out this article. http://www.motoiq.com/magazine_articles/id...oll-center.aspx They say if we can get 10 people interested, they can make something similar to this for much less. He expects around $140 for the ball joint and the flip kit is around $70. Note the final design will be different from this one. We currently have 6 people interested at alltrac.net so if anyone here is also interested please let me know. Or if you can verify the 5th gen parts fit the 6th gen. |

XIIImotorsports is working on something, so I will report back once they make some headway. whats the update? ive been talking to these guys lately and they are actual enthusiasts and are willing to help, unlike the guys over at some other supposed toyota custom parts companies which are few and far between. so these are supposed to get our geometry back in line, but then the question goes how low is too low? http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticles/ID/...g-Your-Car.aspx the above article goes into every aspect of lowering, in which i only understand half of it. So are these bumpersteer kits only meant for people on coilovers? How about people with lowering springs. the ones i have give the lowest ride height of 2.2" lowering. When people install coilovers, do they install them at the height that they received them in the mail or do they lower them even more? If so how much shorter are the shocks over the stock height (since aftermarket coilovers have a shorter body than original shocks) -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts
