Hopefully some of you will help me collect some data. Download a Decibel Meter app for your phone, there's a couple out there for both android and IPhone.
I have a N/A 5sfe with a manual, and no extra sound deadening. Sitting at idle I'm around 40 decibel, if I spin it up to redline it gets to about 69 decibel, and up at highway speed its between 65 and 69. If I push in the clutch it drops maybe 5 db. So what kind of levels are you getting? Especially you guys who've done some sound proofing i'd love to see what kind of readings you're getting. -------------------- Bust a Deal; Face the Wheel.

Finally tested mine today. Keep in mind that my car is s '98 so it has factory sound insulation, and I've added Frost King. That's all offset by the exhaust though, I hate that noise following me everywhere I go. Idle is 60 dB and cruising is 80-85 dB. Redline took it to 97 dB.
