Hopefully some of you will help me collect some data. Download a Decibel Meter app for your phone, there's a couple out there for both android and IPhone.
I have a N/A 5sfe with a manual, and no extra sound deadening. Sitting at idle I'm around 40 decibel, if I spin it up to redline it gets to about 69 decibel, and up at highway speed its between 65 and 69.
If I push in the clutch it drops maybe 5 db. So what kind of levels are you getting? Especially you guys who've done some sound proofing i'd love to see what kind of readings you're getting.

wow mine seems so quiet compared to anybody with some exhaust work.
I had some sinus problems and my ears were buggin me for a while, now it doesn't seem too bad.
I like the way mine doesn't make much noise until you get above 3500

they say the mic in your phone is mostly to 80db, above that it might not be accurate. And I tested mine with the phone mounted to the window mount thing I have in the center of the windshield, which is close enough to ear level.
