I have a st204 and it's not going into gears. We changed the clutch slave cylinder hoping that would solve the problem but, it didn't either. Do you guys have any suggestion or ideas on to what the problem may be?

Does the clutch pedal have pressure and does it go into gear of the engine is off? Yes. When you start the engine it wouldn't go into gears but, when you shut off the engine then i'll go into gears. I had the exact same issue and it turned out that the throw-out bearing spring was installed incorrectly. I appreciate the share. One question could it still be the throw-out bearing spring when the car has never been touched at all to screw it up? |
