ok everyone says its easy but i cant get my fuel pump to turn on. Can someone please walk me through it and let me know where exactly you should put the relay and which wire should go where?? Im using a 5 prong but no matter how long i stare at the wire diagrams i cant make sense of any of it.
I have a 3rd gen 3sgte in my 96 gt, please i know many have done this but i cant find the info i need. |

Smaay- it's needed since the 3sgte is controlled by the ecu where as the body harness has it's on circuit. Pitcelica- thank you for the clarification. So that blue with orange stripe has to be spliced to both terminals. That's what I figured. someone please elaborate on this. the COR has 2 sources for the fuel pump, the start switch and the ECU. so why does the 3S-GTE have an external relay in the engine bay? is there no COR on the ST205? It provides power to the fuel pump when starting. It also turns the fuel pump off when the ignition was left on accidentally. It turns off the fuel pump in an accident. During a major fuel line leak, it cuts power as well. this sounds like the COR on the GT. so back to my question above -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
