I've always liked the idea of ITB's on a BEAMS, but have been put off by cost (quoted $2500). Just found these 4AGE ones. I know they don't fit straight on, but there are many posts on the internet about ways to use them; http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/west-ryde/e...pets/1068238227 And then I could get a 1ZZ Power FC to run it. Think its worth it? -------------------- SOLD :( 1997 ST204 Celica ZR -----> See it here on 6GC! 2013 October Celica of the Month XD Now: '00 NB8B Mazda MX5 -----> See it here in off topic! |

look into clearance, they look to jut outwards more than the beams manifold. Also the runners for the beams intake manifold are pretty long at these ITBS would sit maybe halfway the length of the stock manifold, which I suppose could be remedied by having long angled trumpets.
They would probably take some additional work to fit on yeah, but I would grab some camshafts to accompany the ITBs. I doubt youd see much improvement from ITBs alone -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |
