I currently have a 94 celica gt and the head is in perfectly good working order. I plan to port and polish and get a valve job done on a new head and swap them out. I currently drive my celica every day and can not take current head off and be without a car for a while. I found a 96 5sfe celica head and I want to make sure everything is compatible as in plug in play or do I need to swap this and that out. I'm new to the Toyota game and there isn't much information on it. I've looked for few days now. I'm used to Hondas and Toyotas are much different.

I thought about swapping engines already my current engine is 100% healthy, no smoke no issues what so ever so until it goes I'd rather just beef up the head. Putting roughly 1k into the head with cams isn't that much vs doing a swap that will be headache after headache. I already read how to do it and I'll end up having 4k into a 3sgte swap vs 1k in a 5sfe with decent numbers. Already have a lightened flywheel, and headers not looking for huge power just a little punch.
