hey everyone! I'm having a little problem that hopefully I can get a answer to!

I just got a 1994 manual GTS and im kinda new with 5 speed. My problem is, I have a hard-ish time shifting into 3rd gear? It goes in, but not really smooth at all, but the other gears are fine most of the time. It goes in smooth when the car is off and i'm switching gears, just driving. Is it a mechanical problem? Or maybe i'm doing something wrong? I usually shift around 2500-3000 RPM, maybe lower the rpms? Clutch is pretty new and all.

Sorry if I left out key information, just wondering if its a common problem? Thanks in advance!!!!

It means the synchronizer for 3rd gear is worn out. In some cases you will get some improvement in shifting action by using Synchromesh oil in the transmission. The only way you will really fix it is to rebuild the transmission or replace it with a good used one.
