As per title I have a JDM optional "conlight" module available.
This little unit sits on the dashboard and measures the ambient light.
Depending on the amount of light it will turn on the car's lights when for instance you enter a tunnel or when the sun sets.
Sensitivity of the sensor s adjustable with a small dial on the side of the unit. The switch is also situated there.
This particular unit came from a Japanese Toyota MR-S (MR2 ZZW30) but a similar unit was available for the Celica as well.
(tape measure in the picture is in cm so it's really not that big)

Only 4 wires to connect, easiest way to do this is at the cable connected to the OEM light switch.
Comes with the extension wire with quick-splicers.

Price: €85,- + shipping. PayPal fee's included of course.
Located in the Netherlands but I can ship worldwide with insurance and tracking.

Best way to contact me is via the email address at the top of this link: http://rarecorollaparts.blogspot.nl/
