Will the caldina map sensor for flawlessly with a 3rd gen 3s?
i know the gen 2 map sensors work, and i have one, but i have read that they mess up the fuel and timing maps. Also My boss has a gen 2 map sensor in his swap and he's been running rich since the swap was done, which is assuring me that the engine wont run 100% with 2 bar map sensors. can someone confirm that 2 bar maps are the problem? and can someone tell me if the 4th gen one will work and is it plug and play? One is on ebay for a very good price -------------------- |

Yeah, I forgot, it's also used for overboost protection (overboost fuel cut). This is why you can simply disconnect the vacuum line from this MAP sensor and no more overboost fuel cut on a gen 2.
