Hello!!
first time posting here still pretty new at it. i had seen a video where someone got his headlight and retrofitted a projector lens into it.it seemed preatty easy. I love the kouki projector lens as much as the next guy on this sitebut I am not financially stable enough to buy them for my car ![]() this on the other hand sounds like a cheaper alternative. has anyone done something like that before for their headlights?| or is it even possible for the type of headlights the 6gc has.? |

Cost of A projector retrofit: Clear lenses - $100 Projectors + shroud - $100-120 Supplies to reseal - $20 HID kit - $40-100 Wiring harness conversion - $10-20 Time 12+ hours $270-$360 Cost of JDM projectors converted to LHD: Low beams - $250 High beams - $150 (optional) Supplies to reseal - $20 HID kit -$40-100 Wiring harness conversion - $10-20 Time - 2 hours $320(470)-$390(540) Aiming your headlights with a projector retrofit is enough to steer any diyer Away. The cost is pretty similar, but if you just buy JDM projector low beams without the high beams, it's pretty affordable. |
