 manually pop the fuel door? |

In a pinch what is the quickest way to open your fuel door when the lever mechanism isn't working? Don't say use a crowbar... I don't have many tools on hand as it is.

Orrrr your spring type thing in your gas tank lid could be broken. Happened on my Camry... Just prop the gas leaver up with something and push on the edge of the hindges of your tank lid and see if it opens. If it does than the spring thing is your issue.

This is more likely the issue unless you heard something break as you pulled it. You can use a small binder clip until you get a replacement spring |
