After a workshop swapped the engine in my st205, the air from the heater ranges from warm to very warm. Where should i start? (Any help from the workshop is completely off the table.

It can be really hard to fully purge air from the heater core. put the front of the car up and allow it to idle with the radiator cap off for about 15 minutes, fill the radiator and bottle, put the cap back on, then hold the engine at about 2000-2500 RPM for about 5-10 minutes. You may hear some gurgling and suddenly have nice hot air from the vents. Let the car cool over night and top the coolant bottle.
