So my friends recently helped replace the timing belt, oil seals, water pump on my 99 Celica GT with 5SFE motor.
We installed everything correctly including the timing. However we hand tightened the crank and brought it to a local shop to use their impact gun to shoot the bolt. As soon as they shot the bolt with the gun, the timing went off since they didnt lock the crank. So we took everything apart and redid the timing, but now the car won't start even when timing is set correctly. Since the 5sfe is non interference motor, I shouldn't have a bent value but what could be the cause? |
