Hey guys. Yes most definitely the Clutchmasters FX400 is something I wanted to talk about my experience with it. Conclusion: Will never buy another one, gone back to Exedy From day one (some time in 2011 when my original engine in white car blew head gasket) the Clutchmasters FX400 was impossible to disengage, it only had about 1/2 or 3/4 disengagement at full travel. the thrust bearing ended up blowing to a million pieces from having to overstroke it, and later inspection found there was nothing at all wrong with the travel like we thought, the FX400 kit is sprung too heavily for the strength of its construction sounds just like my experience with them, especially the disengagement and bearing issues. Clutch masters is garbage -------------------- |
