Well today I noticed my inner shaft seal is seeping as well as the rear main seal is seeping. I think it is time to replace the clutch as well.
1. Any how to or removing the manual transmission on 7AFE engine? 2. Should I replace with OEM or after market? 3. IF aftermarket which brand? Thanks in advance. Engine is 7AFE, Car is 1996 ST hatchback. This post has been edited by msk59: Dec 20, 2015 - 12:25 AM |

the 7A uses the same clutch as the 7th gen. get a clutch for a 2000 celica GTS. OEM is a good stock replacement. the price is good too from your dealer.
if you want something more upgraded, get a southbend http://www.dxdracingclutches.com/ecommerce...fm?item_id=2894 I havent written a guide for changing the clutch on a 7A but I did for 7th gens. they will be similar http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?t=334603 I did write a guide on here how to pull the 5S-FE out. there will be a bunch of similar steps here too -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
