Well today I noticed my inner shaft seal is seeping as well as the rear main seal is seeping. I think it is time to replace the clutch as well.
1. Any how to or removing the manual transmission on 7AFE engine? 2. Should I replace with OEM or after market? 3. IF aftermarket which brand? Thanks in advance. Engine is 7AFE, Car is 1996 ST hatchback. This post has been edited by msk59: Dec 20, 2015 - 12:25 AM |

Most that I do to get the axles out is use a pry bar at the axle outputs on the transmission and rotate the axles every other pry to try and wiggle them loose in sense. while you're doing that you might as well replace those output shaft seals and clean up the splines.
