Hi guys,
I really hope someone can help me! I am looking for the sliding cover that covers the gear shift slot for my daughter's '99 Celica GT Convertible (automatic). She is constantly dropping stuff down in there and I am afraid one of these days, something will end up being un-rescue-able! The Part Number is #35975-20150 I am attaching a diagram showing the part that I need (circled in red), as I don't know if I am describing it well. Please PM me, if you can help me out. For shipping purposes, I live in 76028. Thanks so much!!! |

Good posting! I have the exact same problem. Mine just cracked & disintegrated due to too much sunlight exposure I guess.
This part is readily available from a number of sources. The dealer near me wants $83 for it, but if you google the part number you'll find a number of sources selling it in the $40 range. For the most part, it's not too difficult to get to this part. But there is a real tricky part, and that's removing the shifter knob (33504F in the diagram above). There are linkage parts coming up into the knob. Has anyone figured out how to remove the knob? I would sure appreciate any info on this if so. Thanks! |
