I'm planning on swapping in a 4th gen 3sgte and want to know what's recommended to be swapped or replaced or repaired while the engine is still out? Is the waterpump interchangeable with the 5sfe? Should I replace the oil pump seal and pulley seal? I know they're a common leak on a 5sfe. Here's the list I've made talking to a friend of mine with a st184 4th gen swap.

i remember reading that somewhere too, but it was never confirmed. since you are going to a 4th gen, that would rule out the 5S pump anyways.
just get the one i posted the link to. its the newer style with the metal vaines. i have that pump in my 3rd gen swap, my all-trac and another 3rd gen engine i just built -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
