 Clutch issues, First time dealing with this. |

Hey everyone i'm new to this forun and currently starting having issues with my 97 Celica gt convertibles clutch!
I was driving last night and was at a stop light, everything was normal until i was turning right in first gear and tried shifting into second and it wouldn't go into gear at all! Now i'm assuming it's the clutch and wanted any possible info or advice on what else it could be and clutch recommendations. First thing would be to look the slave cylinder. Does it activate whn you press pedal completely. How dark is your fluid. It should be the color of urine. Change fluid, then flush the slave and test. Old fluid tends not to donwell sometimes and ruins the slave.

The pedal feels somewhat soft but gets very firm/shaky when i press it all the way down. Also makes a slight grinding sound when i hold it down for more then a few seconds occasionally |
