I take personal issue with my car being referred to as a "hatchback." A "hatchback" applies to CRXs and Civics with vertically positioned rear point of ingress/egress. A "hatchback" is synonymous with 1000 pound POS import.
Toyota calls my model a "liftback" because the rear cargo port is at a 45 degree angle. It is only used as a hatch for getting people in and out of the car when two people are going to be... laying in back with the seats down (and using the so-perfectly placed rear window to look at the heavens afterward). And perhaps once I have added a few horse under the hood, I might demand my car be referred to as domestics were a time ago, that is a "fastback." -------------------- ![]() |

Having a JDM Curren and a JDM GT4, i just about have all the range of Celis. They are practically the same cars so this discussion is pointless. They are both the best looking cars in their category. I would be more concern with the very low power the USDM cars have. Both cars have their advantages and disadvantages and no one can actually argue that one is better than the other.
