So the back story is I bought my ss3 with a pod filter allready put in it but because it was put in in Japan I don't have the stock one. And from looking online I have heard the stock intake is much better.

So I was wondering if anyone knows how much better the stock one is and also if it is worth buying on.
If it is worth the cost for power gains and fuel efficiency what is the cheapest way to go about doing it.

Thanks

Being in New Zealand, you should be able to order a new one from the dealer. The part number is 17705-74490. It's cheaper to pick one up from eBay or Yahoo auctions but they don't turn up often. You can also post a WTB ad in the BEAMS Owners Group on mr2.com and see if anyone over there has one.

Oohh I though because it was the mr2 even though it's exactly the same engine it might be a different intake setup because the engine bays must be slightly different but nothing a bit of custom fab won't fix I guess.
