Hey guys. Thinking about deleting the spoiler on my 94 gt coupe. However I dont know how it would look, or how to seal off the holes so water wouldnt leak into my car afterwards.

The proper way would be to have metal welded into the holes and then have it resprayed, but that'd be fairly pricey to have it done. What you could do is get some vinyl wrap that's a close match to your paint and then make patches to cover and seal the holes from the topside and bottom. Yeah you'd have little dimples where the holes are but it'd be a lot less noticeable than rubber plugs. +1 to this, my brother took off his spoiler a while back and covered it up w/o wielding. Now the cracks and holes are showing after some years on the road. I'd say it's just best to leave the spoiler on and protect the holes with anti-rust or something so rust doesn't build. |
