Hi all,
Recently I got this car from a friend, I don't mind the current wheels and tyres on it. But alas this was my friends look, and I don't think it really reflects me. http://www.6gc.net/celicas/my-celi-16242 Currently its running a set of Advanti SA15 Racing Wheels (17 inch Diameter, 7 inch width, 45 Offset) But im looking for a more an aggressive look, and i would like a deep dish look. However because my state has a load of laws that stop you from doing cool looking stuff without getting a my car defected (un-road worthy). So the main thing is what kind of offset and width would i be looking for to get a more aggressive deep dish look? I am lowering the car (once my ajustable coilovers come) by about 1 and a half inches to the legal minimum im allowed to which is "no part of the body work is to be lower than 100mm while the vehicle is on a flat even surface) I can only go up to 17 inches in size, because my state law only allows me to go +1 inch above the specified tyre placard and mine reads 14-15-16 for the standard wheels The wheels can not stick out past the body work, and they must not foul any part of the suspension or steering. No spacers can be used between the hub and the rim unless the manufacturer designed and sold the car with them. ( so im not allowed to use wheel spacers) So, for this i guess im going to stick to a 17 inch wheel but what kinda of width and offset would be best for me to make that deep dish look? and does any one have any examples that they have done themselves. Sorry for the long story, im pretty passionate about my celica lol |
