if i remove my cat will this trigger the check engine light to come on and if so can i reposition the 02 sensor so that it does not go on

No. I don't know where everybody gets this. What do you think cars smelled like before the 70s? Cars haven't always had cats. Its like little kids thinking that there was no color back when there was only black and white tv..... |
