Well everyone...
Been a long while since I ruffled anyones forum politics... So here we go. Topic of this being Tubular k-members and cross frames. Ok ok I know that there weren't many suspension mods given to the 6gens, aside from what Mike Thoma has installed on his . Good looking example by the way Mike. I know there are underbody braces, like the strut tower braces and bars that help the rigidity of the chassis. What I'm looking for though is a replacement for the stock k-member and rear cross frame. If no such thing exists already, just a simple point in the right direction is what I'm looking for as far as fabrication needs go. What kind of metal, wall thickness of that metal and kind of bushings would be recommended for such a project. There are tubular frames out on the market for other vehicles... so why not ours right? Well here's to a nicely debated forum post. Thank you in advance everyone. -------------------- 1997 ST:Limitedly Green
