Hey folks.
I have a UK 1996 GT 3G-SE Manual. Today I started feeling a single front-end clunk when taking my foot off the clutch after a gear change. Then, going downhill at about 40mph, foot off the gas the front end started juddering like one of the wheels was loose. All of this goes away if I hold the clutch in. Basically, the only time there are NO symptoms are when I'm either accelerating, coasting in neutral, or driving gently in 5th. Any ideas? Engine mount? Clutch bearing? Extra info... There's no over-revving in 5th, so I don't think it's a slipping problem. Thanks. Lee. |

hmm not sure i started having a noise coming from my right front when turning left as well. but my car was also moved around without an engine and axles in place. so i could of messed up my hub since there was nothing pressing/holding bearing in place.
