Greetings all, im having a hard time controlling the idle on my 96 gt

lemme give you the shakedown, i just swapped a 94 engine in but used all the necessary things (crank sensor, distributor etc.) from the 96
its using the 96 fuel rail with the 94 injectors cause the holes for injectors are different this could be the problem

all vacuum hoses are working as they should (rather certain) and i have the upper o2 sensor but not the lower one, thats the only code it throws

The issue im having is at initial start up it takes a moment for it to figure itself out then its sort of erratic , it bogs easy when moving and when i put in the clutch it sky rockets to 2k and sits there unless i pull the pedal back at me. ive played with the cable position countless times and its either to high for idle or too low to keep itself running while starting up or moving

any ideas on the problem? are the 94 injectors smaller and causing issues? do i need to plug in to other O2? cause on my last swap it ran just fine without the O2's being hooked up properly

any help is greatly appreciated thanks!

alright i solved the issue,
there was no vacuum hose leak but i managed to install the Cali injectors into the federal injectors port

all i did was take 2 sets of the thick round gasket at the end of the federal injectors and stacked em on top of each other on the Cali injector
with one of the rubber rings that would be on the tip of the Cali injector in between.

its a tight fit but if you put the injector into the fuel rail first then squish it down while rotating a little left to right they slide right in, the bolts wont seat the full way so tighten it down good with a tiny itty bitty amount of thread locker on the end of it cause mine just came loose on the first test drive.

that fixed it, so with anybody else out there with a similar issue here you go
