 HELP! Filler Flap Problems |

Having just bought a 1995 Celica GT I am having problems opening the filler flap.
On pulling on the release cable I heard a snap & sound's like the cable or the plastic lever has broke. Till I get round to fitting a new cable or lever does anyone know of any way that I can open it so that I can fill it up with fuel. Cheers in advance. |

i use to have a nissan pulsar and all of the sudden the little lever to open the door broke. so to open the door i had to get to the cable somehow. i got to it underneath the carpet in the trunk. pull out the carpet where the filler is at and look for a little cable or latch. there was a little space that i could just stick my key in a pull towards the back of the car and it would pop right open.
hopefully that makes sense and helps....who knows though.....this was on an 86 nissan, and who knows what kind of differences there could be between the cars. pm me if you need me try and describe it better. |
