one month ago i bought my st185 front clip because i wanted more power..
anyways, finished with the swap..so i thought... sunday night the motor was ready to be fired up for the first time.. went into my car and turned the key... and crap!!! there seems to be no power in the dash.. power windows doesnt work, turn signals don't work, and gauges don't work.. everything else is fine..such as the head lights, hazard lights... sigh... but because there's not enough power or no power to the dash i can't start my car... any suggestion.....anybody? It sounds stupid but check the battery terminals. The stock toyota ones are junk and have poor connection quality over time. You may need to really torque them on there. This happens to me all the time. If I ever had to get away in a hurry I'd be fooked because half the time I have to pop the hood, get out and play around with the terminals to get juice.
