hey wusup guys, juss a few basic questions.

if the stress of 6k rpm in first gear the same at 6k rpm in 5th gear?

also how does the power increase from 1st to 5th gear. i mean how do the engine and trans work to increase your speed through each gear.

thanx a lot

the engine always puts out the same power .. it the transmission that takes that power and increases it or decreases it.. the best in 1st gear if the crank turns once the gears in the tranny turns 3 times (just an example) no in 5th gear the crank turns 1 once gears move .5 times..

think about it just like a 10 speed bike in fist gear you pedal more and move slower in 10 gear you peadal less and move faster..
