Well my swap was finished a few days ago, after about a month and a half of waiting. I wish it worked though there seems to be a problem somewhere. When ever the car starts to boost, maybe its caused by the boost, or when the car hits about 4k RPM, the throttle cuts. The check engine light comes on, then when the engine gos back to idle the check engine lights gos off. I didnt have a map sensor, so i thought that was the problem... the map was ordered and put in... same problem.
Anyone have any ideas on whats up!? I want to boost! |

Definately get a boost controller man. and get a good one. Overbbosting is the major thing that could happen to you. I really think that you will be ok. Usually my mechanic when he does such swaps, he uses GReddy e-manage to set the whole thing because its very easy to program and basically controls everything.
Personally i dont know anything regarding the operations of the car. I just drive them. |
