Changed fog lights, Different wiring now Options

I just took off my OEM Toyota front foglights last weekend and replaced them with more modern looking blue projector type ones.

When I opened the new foglight box I found that the new lights contained the H3 bulbs like the picture here...


I took off the OEM foglights, so I simply cut the wires to leave two clean wires with no connectors at each side of the front of the car

I then put on the new foglights and wired the two wires up to the new fogs.

This was fine for a few days but they seem to blow the bulb constantly.

The new foglights and bulbs are 55w so they should be fine as far as i'm aware??

Does anyone know if there is a connector that I could put at the end of the freshly cut wires to enable me to connect them to the new foglights without having to physically twist the wires together, I think this is where the problem might be??

Even though I'm pretty sure the connections are joined well enough!
I even used solder to get them to connect as good as possible.

I dont want to be cutting the cable again and again everytime I want to replace the bulb, especially when they seem to blow as constantly as they are.

So the two questions are:
1. Is there a connector available that will allow me to connect the wires to a H3 Bulb
2. Am I doing something wrong? these are blowing very frequently(Is the standard OEM Toyota fog 55w?)
