i now have access to a 5th gen GT-S with disks. Will they swap into my ST? I have heard they would, just didn't want to go to the trouble of getting them if they didn't.
Also, any Ideas on how I would know they would work or not? Jon |

Best performance will be found with slotted rotors in front and solid rotors in the rear. For pads I suggest Performance Friction Carbon Metallic (for the street). They're cheap, they work well when cold, they don't fade easily (Used them on the track for short sessions), and they last well. Oh, and they're readily available.
I think he means switch to the stock GT proportioning valve. I don't suggest using the GT proportioning valve as the GT front rotors are bigger than the ST. I've kept the ST propportioning valve with good results. I plan to eventually switch to an adjustable valve, but for now I don't notice any ill effects and the car stops great. |
