ok, its been a while and its that time when new brakes are being put on.

im looking at some ceramic ones from tirerack.

do slotted/vented rotors become a problem for any reason as far as catching on the pad? (i noticed there was a slot in one of the pads but id imagine that going on the opposite (not cd/slotted) side of the rotor.

and its been a while since i've messed around with brakes. can someone refresh my memory please. ill be damned if im paying 200 bucks for front and rear brakes

I just bought the greenstuff pads not too long ago and am highly impressed. These will run you about $80 (up front), but are well worth the cash. You can look at it this way: you can either shell out some extra cash now for good pads, or you pay later when you wreck your car due to crappy pads.

Also as far as rotors go, C/d arent worth it, nor at slotted. Slotted only helps if your slamming on ur brakes at 100-0, which i should hope ur not. Just buy some brembo blanks for $59 a rotor, instead of $200 for a powerslot rotor. See the justification?

i want it for the look. but ill pick up some greenstuff for the front from tire rack

the rotors is like 200 for all four

still looking for a writeup on this smile.gif
